NEW YORK CITY (AP) A new food cart featuring Noah’s ark has opened in a tiny Brooklyn neighborhood.
The Noah’s Ark Food Co. opened Friday at a former Salvation Army shelter on Shrewsburg Hollow in a section of Brooklyn that has become a tourist attraction for the city’s residents and tourists.
It is part of a new food service offering that was announced in January.
The New York Daily News reports that the Noah’s team of chefs are working with the local food pantry to get the food out.
The food cart was the first in New York to serve local produce from local farms and is designed to help bring fresh, locally sourced produce to Brooklynites.
